I HOPE

I hope that you’ll see

This other side of me

My heart lost in loneliness

My mind free and boundless

I hope that you’ll hear

What thoughts that I bear

My sighs so deep and low

My whispers soft and shallow

I hope that you’ll feel

My feelings outreached

My passion so intense

Shaking my very own existence

I wish that it’s me

That you feel, hear and see

I can only wonder

What is it that you glance

Is it me

Or the ungratifying distance?
